My abject apologies to my highly valued Newsletter Subscribers for whom the pictures failed to come through! I don't know whether I'm more frustrated or disappointed, but I know it happened to many of you. Goodness, here it is late February and I haven’t so much as wished you all a Happy New Year yet! I do hope your 2019 is getting off to a good start. For my traditional opening garden report, I think these pictures say it all—although the sun is shining and the snow melting at the moment.

My “garden” efforts have been focused indoors recently, as we’ve been doing some much-needed updates on our house—including new carpets. I am incredibly leased to be rid of the stained and damaged white carpets we lived on for 15 years.

And there is great progress in the book department as well. I have just completed my long-time project of re-releasing the whole Elizabeth and Richard Literary Suspense series.

Follow the adventures of Elizabeth and Richard, literature professors cum detectives, from their first, troubled meeting into a mature marriage as they probe the backgrounds of their favorite literary figures including Rudyard Kipling, Dorothy L Sayers, Shakespeare and Jane Austen—all while evading danger and bringing murderers to justice.

In this week’s release of A Jane Austen Encounter, book 4 in the series, Elizabeth and Richard are celebrating twenty years of marriage with their dream vacation in England visiting Jane Austen’s homes.
