A Quartet in Springtime— Four Author Event this Saturday

By Donna Fletcher Crow ~ April 13, 2015

Writers, Readers, and All Who Love Books are invited to Hastings in Nampa this Saturday from 4:00-8:00 where I will be one of four local authors who will be greeting readers, answering questions and signing books.

Popular Boise Valley author and speaker Ray Ellis will be featuring his new release KrakenWhen a stranger from Mike Stone’s past appears on his doorstep, his ordinary life is suddenly and violently destroyed. Mike’s past has come back to haunt him. Now with his family attacked and his home destroyed, Mike finds himself running for his life through a jungle-planet filled with terrors and a monster known only as the Kracken.

Ray will have his Nate Richards Mystery Series as well, including the powerful   Insidious, third in the series: After two successful investigations, Detective Nate Richards is feeling secure in his new position. That is until he is summoned to the office of the assistant chief. An accusation is made, a charge is leveled, and Nate finds himself suspended and the focus of every cops fear…the Internal Affairs Investigation

Kay Painter will be featuring her powerful nonfiction story  From Sin to Sorrow to Service : “I attended church but buried my secrets, creating shame, self-loathing, guilt, and soul-racking pain. I knew I would be judged as a sinner, an adulteress, and a murderer. The appalling choices I had made brought me to the very gates of Hell. And then I discovered deliverance from my demons.”

Carol Colson will present  The Legend of the Windwalker A hawk, a shaman, and an ancient bone necklace, are just the beginning of 16-year-old Nhaya’s summer journey.

And I will be featuring my latest release A Newly Crimsoned Reliquary, as well as the three earlier titles in The Monastery Murders. In this fourth installment in the series Murder Stalks Oxford’s Hallowed Shrines

Oxford’s muffled bells toll another death. Can Felicity prevent the next one?  A Newly Crimsoned Reliquary is a gripping contemporary suspense story set against the background of Oxford’s rich history. Could the Medieval Latin document Felicity is translating for the good sisters at the Convent of the Incarnation have anything to do with the repeated attacks?

Ray, Carol, Kay and I hope you can join us for a lively literary discussion this Saturday.
