Donna Fletcher Crow, Novelist of British History
A traveling researcher engages people and places from Britain's past and present, drawing comparisons and contrasts between past and present for today's reader.

"Donna, are you watching the Opening Ceremonies? They just carried the flag to the top of Glastonbury Tor!" My friend rang from England. Another friend sent me a Facebook message from Kentucky.
We hadn't seen the opening of the London Olympics yet. But now we have! Glastonbury Tor recreated in the center of the Olympic stadium in London. A children's choir singing "Jerusalem":
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountain green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
Glastonbury Tor, the centerpiece of my Arthruian epic GLASTONBURY, A Novel of The Holy Grail, covering 1500 years of English history recreated in modern London for all the world to see; the hymn which recounts the legend on which I based my book, sung afresh. . . I'm still in shock. Amazed. Thrilled.
