By Donna Fletcher Crow ~ May 14, 2012
Beginning week 3 of my Pump Up Your Book Tour and great fun it's been so far with two weeks
yet to go. Just wanted to share some highlights to date:
From A YEAR OF JUBILEE REVIEWS
I love a good mystery and put it in a monastery and historic churches in London, makes it all the more fun and suspenseful! . . .
This novel is fast paced and steeped in rich history. . . I love how she weaves historical fiction into the plot of a modern day time. It reads as a contemporary novel, but pulls you into the past as well. My very favorite kind of read.
. . . a great read! http://ning.it/KNwdWk .jpg)
From ASHLEY’S BOOKSHELF
I enjoyed this book! . . .
I loved the history throughtout the story! Felicity and Anthony were great characters. I loved the relationship between them, even if it was a bit difficult at times. Her realtionship with her mother, keeps you intrigued. The whole story, especially the different places you get to visit with them, keeps the storyline flowing smoothly. Theft, murder and wonderful history make this story really good!
I am ready to read more from this author. http://ning.it/KJtcq4

And from An Avid Reader’s Haven
A tea party interview. Perhaps my all-time favorite interview
Reader’s Haven: What types of hero or heroine do you like best?
I like them to be strong, kind and intelligent with just enough quirks to make them interesting. I also think it’s essential that the hero and heroine balance each other's personalities. Felicity and Antony are a good example. They are both brilliant and care passionately. Felicity, however, is rash and headstrong while Antony is much quieter and insists on thinking things through. This, of course, means they can drive each other crazy at times, but in the end they learn to appreciate the other’s qualities.
